Job Description

Conducting routine inspections of trailers to identify faults.
Diagnosing mechanical, structural, and electrical issues.
Assessing brake systems, suspension, axles, and coupling devices.
Repairing and servicing trailer systems, including wheel bearings, electrical wiring, and lighting systems.
Performing welding and fabrication work when required.
Replacing defective parts and components.
Lubricating moving parts and adjusting systems where necessary.
Training junior mechanics and performing any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Reporting Officer.
