- The Tracking operator shall maintain the list of operational vehicles in their division.
- The tracking operator shall arrange for the vehicle availability and coordinate with the Technician so that the installation of the tracking device in the vehicle is completed with no delays.
- The tracking operator shall verify the installation, check the tracking & features of the vehicle, and get the Job cards signed by the Unit head/Branch manager/Logistics manager.
- He shall monitor the Vehicle Movements in real time to ensure they are operating efficiently and within designated routes and schedules. He shall also ensure that drivers adhere to the company’s driving policies.
- Escalate any exceptions and panic alerts to the Unit head/Branch manager/Logistics manager, as the case may be and Drivers are also to be alerted.
- Address issues or discrepancies identified through tracking systems promptly to the logistic manager, including incidents of unauthorized vehicle use or deviations from planned routes.
-The tracking operator shall prepare daily and monthly reports and send them to the Unit head/Branch
manager/Logistics manager with a copy to the TSC Customer care.
-The tracking operator shall highlight to the tracking supervisor and unit head about any device not updating BEFORE the vehicle leaves for the trip/safari.
- The accountability of generating and publishing daily and monthly reports, observing alerts, and passing information to the logistics supervisor/unit heads immediately shall be with the tracking operator.
- The tracking operator shall work with the Logistics Manager / Branch Manager / Unit Head to generate any other type of report as relevant to vehicle tracking.
- Shall practice flexibility to lend a hand wherever needed.
