Job Description

  • Learn the Vehicle tracking web application and mobile app.
  • Handle and monitor the work of the team of Customer Care, Control Room, and Field Coordinator.
  • Should be adept in handling and helping customers and maintain a pleasing attitude – at times even outside office hours.
  • Provide training to external and internal customers on the usage of Vehicle tracking applications and reporting.
  • Learn the full operation of the internal helpdesk for handling day-to-day team operations.
  • Ensure that new devices request & checkup requests through tracking helpdesk, email, or phone from all units/customers are updated in the local helpdesk system and information to the field coordinator.
  • Check the inventory status of the devices with the help of the control room operator based on the calls received.
  • Communicate & follow up on all the complaints with the field coordinator and operations manager for the proper allocation of the technicians (update the allocation in the helpdesk system)
  • Communicate through e-mails, calls, and messages with all divisions/customers and the internal team for work coordination.
  • Ensure all the documents (like job cards, inventory, vouchers, etc.) are filled systematically and regularly.
  • Ensure the helpdesk calls are closed with correct inventory details.
  • Be self-updated and inform all new updates in the tracking system to unit heads & Tracking operators and provide additional training as and when required.
  • Ensure the team checks the daily reports & follow-up the problems with the divisions. Take the help of the operations manager wherever necessary. Update the information in the helpdesk system.
  • Maintain proper records for vehicles & device transfers.
  • Maintain proper records for vehicles in Workshop.
  • Prepare and update the Helpdesk Issues tracker on a daily basis.
  • Highlight any issues that require special (or immediate) attention from the Operations manager.
  • Prepare and share daily and monthly tracking-related reports with the operations manager.
  • Verify the monthly reports from the divisions/units/branches and do the necessary analysis.
  • As the job requires constant contact with customers, should be open to responding to their queries outside of office hours as well. Shall practice flexibility to lend a hand wherever needed.
