Job Description

  1. Fuel Management
  • Assist in monitoring and managing fuel inventory levels.
  • Coordinate fuel deliveries and ensure accurate recording of fuel receipts and dispatches.
  • Conduct regular inspections of fuel storage facilities to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  1. Quality Control
  • Assist in implementing quality control procedures to maintain fuel integrity.
  • Perform routine checks and tests on fuel samples to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Address any fuel quality issues promptly and report findings to the Fuel Supervisor.
  1. Safety and Compliance
  • Support the enforcement of safety protocols and procedures related to fuel handling and storage.
  • Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in safety training programs and emergency response drills.
  1. Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Enter fuel transaction data on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel transactions, inventory levels, and quality control activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on fuel usage, inventory, and incidents to the Fuel Supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
  1. Team Support
  • Provide guidance and support to fuel handling staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in the training and development of new employees on fuel management procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fuel operations with overall company activities.
  1. Equipment Maintenance
  • Assist in the maintenance and servicing of fuel handling equipment and facilities.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
