Job Description

Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, ensuring they match delivery notes and purchase documents.
Prepare and issue materials only against duly authorized material requisitions.
Maintain accurate bin cards, stock ledgers, and inventory records, ensuring all transactions are updated promptly.
Arrange, label, and store materials systematically to facilitate easy identification, handling, and retrieval.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory balances with system records, reporting any variances.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
Ensure the store is clean, safe, secure, and well-organized at all times in compliance with company procedures.
Report damaged, expired, obsolete, missing, or excess stock, as well as any inventory discrepancies, to the immediate supervisor without delay.
Assist in periodic inventory audits, stock verification exercises, and the implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained to preserve the quality and integrity of all materials and supplies.
Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor of items requiring replenishment to prevent stock shortages.
Comply with company policies, inventory control procedures, and health and safety regulations while performing store operations.
