Job Description

Supervise and manage all ICD operations during the night shift.
Maintain accurate records of all container in/out movements in both Excel and the TANICS system.
Ensure all carry-in and carry-out updates are entered accurately into the system.
Monitor container movements, ensuring proper verification and documentation before release.
Attend to and assist customers arriving during the night shift, resolving any operational issues promptly.
Conduct physical checks of containers leaving the ICD to confirm condition, seal, and documentation.
Supervise and monitor all equipment used during the night shift, including reach stackers, forklifts, trucks, lighting, and security systems.
Report any equipment faults, damages, or irregularities immediately to the Operations Manager.
Ensure all safety and security procedures are strictly followed within the premises.
Coordinate with security staff to monitor gate activities and container movements.
Maintain regular communication with the day shift team to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of operations.
Prepare and share a night shift summary report every morning, highlighting completed work, pending tasks, and any incidents.
Ensure the yard and office areas remain clean and organized throughout the night shift.
Supervise and maintain discipline among all night shift workers and drivers within the premises.
Handle emergency situations such as accidents, breakdowns, or container damage, and report them immediately.
