Job Description

Performs all work within the safety and environmental guidelines established by company policies.
Operate refining, bleaching, and deodorization production process.
Load and unload trucks transfersâ€™/ tanks oils via pipe and/or tanker truck between tanks and perform general yard duties as assigned.
Responsible for taking the sample, putting seals, performing inspection of pipeline and tanks in C & R- section
Performs routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on operating equipment.
Gauges quantity of oil tanks using a calibrated steel tape or rod and taking the dip of tanks on a daily basis.
Maintains records of materials received and distributed, gauged readings, pumping time, and storage dates.
Evaluate the performance of the machinery and the refining process and make suggestions to improve efficiency
Preparing records of operations by reading the panel board values on the equipment
Monitor the machinery for malfunction and report to the officials
Patrols tanks farm area to inspect seal, pumps, motors, valves, piping, and electrical ground â€“wire
To consult shift in-charge supervisor on daily basis instruction.
The skills and specifications of a refinery operator are:
A thorough and strong knowledge about the various processes and techniques involved in the refinery of edible crude oil
A thorough knowledge about the handling of refining machinery and their safety standards
Ability to evaluate the performance of the process and suggest changes
Good decision-maker skills and presence of mind
Ability to work in extreme heat and physically uncomfortable conditions
Ability to spot irregular machine behavior and take immediate measures to repair them.
Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.
