Regulate power flow and adjust controls to achieve the required level of electrical generation. Match generator output to the required voltage, frequency, and load. Connect or disconnect equipment from circuits as required.
Maintain auxiliary equipment such as pumps and air compressors. Carry out minor repairs and report any major maintenance requirements to management. Use appropriate testing devices to examine electrical distribution machinery.
Inspect power plant equipment for any signs of operational issues. Review logbook entries and communicate with relevant personnel to assess equipment status. Compile operational data and maintain accurate daily reports.
Be flexible to take on responsibilities at different locations as required. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
