Job Description

Plan and monitor daily vehicle dispatch as per loading schedule.
Ensure maximum vehicle utilization.
Track trip movement from loading to offloading.
Minimize vehicle idle time.
Allocate drivers as per trip plan.
Monitor driver attendance and discipline.
Ensure drivers follow company policies and safety rules.
Conduct daily briefing regarding trip instructions.
Monitor fuel consumption per trip and check fuel efficiency (KM/L).
Control trip advances and expenses and verify fuel slips and trip sheets.
Track breakdowns and coordinate with workshop team.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedule is followed.
Maintain daily fleet movement report.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Ensure vehicles have valid insurance, permits, and road licenses.
Investigate accidents and submit reports.
