Job Description

Running the mill as a shift in charge
Setting the milling machines to optimum level of efficiency
Supervising the milling operatives under him
Ensuring a high degree of hygiene and good housekeeping
Ensuring that the products conform to the set quality standards
Participating in maintenance of milling machines as advised by the Chief Miller
Reporting machinery break downs on time
Following wheat transfer from silo to mill and keeping records of the amount transferred on every shift.
Ensuring proper wheat conditioning by controlling water addition and enough lying times
Participating in any other activities as directed by the Chief Miller.
