Overall Responsibility:
The HR Officer contributes to the overall success of the Company by managing our people, our most important asset in the company. Apart from working in the HR administration function, the critical role of the position is to recruit the right talent, manage that talent and performance, create an environment of learning and growth, and generally assist people to reach their full potential.

Detailed Responsibility:

  • Recruiting the best talent for the open positions who are a good fit for the role as well as a good fit for the company culture.
  • Maintain group positivity: For people to work at their peak performance, they need to be Engaged, Empowered, and Motivated.
  • Performance Management.
  • Professional Growth and Learning.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Develop training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Support the management in disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee attendance records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Maintain monthly Payroll and leave tracker.
  • Assist in monthly compliance-related issues.
  • Maintain Probation appraisal records.
  • Keep records of contract expiry and renewals.
  • Employee relations/conflict management and resolution.
  • Compensation and benefits administration.
  • P-File management and maintenance of terminal dues.
  • Looking after the health, safety, and welfare of all employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

The Candidate:

  • Must be a people person - with high emotional intelligence.
  • Must be calm - one with maturity and emotional sensitivity.
  • High level of commitment and sense of responsibility.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to create neat, clean, organized reports.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design, and implement effective practical recommendations.
  • Must be an analytical thinker - must be able to look beyond the symptoms and get to the root cause.
  • Must be strategic and not just a tactical firefighter.
