Job Description

Coordinating finalization of Statutory accounts of all companies of the group.
Filing Income Tax return for all the companies and Directors
Coordinating all type of TRA audit (i.e., Vat verification, Post Clearance, normal assessment audit, investigation dept. audit).
Getting Income Tax Clearance certificate (BLTC) for each company/Directors
Filing refund of Vat cases and follow up of the same.
Ensuring all legal compliance of TRA by the units by doing audit and checking returns filed with TRA.
Preparing Transfer Price Policy & related documentation
Follow up of assessment of all companies of the group.
Drafting replies to TRA and other statutory authorities, Objections, appeals and follow up
Updating all new rules pertaining to, WHT, Vat & Income Tax Act and keep informed to units.
Finalizing provisional returns of all companies and ensuring that payment of Corporate Tax has been released in time by every unit.
Ensuring that reconciliation of Tansis Report.
Maintaining good relationship with TRA.
Any other matter coming up from time to time.
Submitting Statutory Accounts for the units latest by 20th of succeeding month.
Preparing information for TRA Assessments of Units.
Submission of Consolidated Group Taxes payment position of each month latest by 7th of succeeding month.
Submission of Consolidated Group Turnover for last month and year to date latest by 7th of succeeding month.
EFD Cancellation and Vat return revision.
EFD purchases and repairs of all group companies.
Training of all staff on matters related to compliance.
BRELA-related work – ensuring reconciliation of financial records and BRELA records
Periodic health check of units/divisions/companies in relation to various statutory compliances
Any other matter assigned by our reporting officer.
