Job Description

Supervise Loading fuel to the trucks (before & after loading)
Takes opening meter readings before loading
loader collects and verify the loading ticket from drivers and confirms the product and quantity to be loaded
The loader collects calibration certificate of the truck from the driver and confirms the volume of ullages per compartment as recorded on the ticket.
Loaders should check water dip and make sure no water presence in each compartment before start loading
Loaders ensure that all compartment offloading valves are closed before loading
Loader records the vehicle no, loading ticket/ order no, quantity to be loaded on the meter record form before commencing loading.
The Loader ensures to pre-set the exact quantity to be loaded on the load controller into the compartments as on the loading ticket/ form/ order.
Monitor flow rate for each meter intermittently to avoid delays
Liaise with the safety /fire department to ensure that the usual safety procedures are followed during trucking operations
Meter reading and the actual quantity loaded are recorded on the meter record form and loading ticket at the completion of the loading of trucks.
Loaders assisted by the driver takes dips of all compartments and record those actual ullages as required.
Make sure opening and closing meter readings is correctly recorded in the Log book/ loading ticket at the completion of loading of each compartment / truck.
Check for GFI marking to loaded trucks.
