Job Description

To be good enough to handle all mechanical breakdowns as well as preventive maintenance given by the Reporting Officer
Timely feedback to the supervisor on any tools unavailability or variation in the quantity of issuance.
Ability to dismantle machines, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other machinery parts for repairing and re-assembling.
Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks and provide technical assistance as required.
Responsible for undertaking maintenance, repairs, minor improvement, and extra work across the plant.
Ensure standard work practices and procedures are followed.
Ensure power tools are in good working condition.
Ensure high levels of safety and housekeeping are maintained in the workshop.
Fault finding of malfunctioning mechanical systems, equipment, and components
Assembles and fit all mechanical parts based on SOPs
Understanding the root cause of Breakdowns and Preventive steps to be taken to reduce the breakdowns.
Prepare the list of materials required as per the Clients maintenance plan.
Understand Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Maintenance Schedules and carry them out under the guidance of the Supervisor/ Engineers.
Rectify the fault and reduce downtime.
Must follow hygiene standards at all times
Must use appropriate PPEs during
Maintain cleanliness on the shop floor at all times
