Job Description

Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives
Properly motivate the credit, marketing, and collections staff
Measure department performance with appropriate metrics/performance system
Provide ongoing training for the credit and marketing staff
Manage relations with collection, insurance, and sales teams
Monitor deductions being taken by customers
Manage the application of late fees
Monitor GPS reports
Develop/implement standard written credit policy or document related to the department set up
Interface with sales organizations/dealers to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of the loan portfolio
Make credit decisions within the assigned authority
Plan and organize activities of marketing and credit reviews are completed timely/accurately
Initiate process improvement and quality reviews to simplify and improve productivity
Ensure transactions are properly secured
Resolve credit issues with customers
Ensure all credit reports are completed and submitted to your reporting officer properly and timely
Any other duty(s) assigned by your reporting officer
