Job Description

Guide laborers to operate the fertilizer bagging machine according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate weight and proper sealing of bags.
Ensure the smooth functioning of conveyor belts, stitching/sealing units, and weighing systems.
Monitor the bagging process to maintain consistent speed and accuracy.
Check that each bag is properly filled as per the specified weight (e.g., 50 kg).
Identify and address any technical issues during the bagging process, and report them to the higher authority.
Inspect bags to verify correct labeling, stitching, and sealing.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Report any defective bags or irregularities to the Business Head.
Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the bagging machine.
Report major mechanical issues to the Business Head.
Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
Follow all safety protocols and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Operate the machine safely to prevent accidents.
Record daily production output and downtime in the logbook.
Maintain accurate records of material usage and wastage.
Ensure the machine is maintained in optimal working condition.
Keep the necessary tools and spare parts readily available to ensure continuous machine operation.
