Job Description

Guide laborers in operating the fertilizer bagging machine according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bag weight and proper sealing.
Ensure smooth functioning of conveyor belts, stitching/sealing units, and weighing systems.
Monitor the bagging process to maintain both speed and accuracy.
Check that bags are filled to the specified weight (e.g., 50 kg).
Identify and resolve any technical issues during the bagging process, and report them to higher authorities.
Inspect bags for correct labeling, stitching, and sealing.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Report defective bags or irregularities to the Business Head.
Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the bagging machine.
Report major mechanical issues to the Business Head.
Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
Follow safety protocols and wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Operate the machine safely to prevent accidents.
Record daily production output and downtime in the production log.
Maintain accurate records of material usage and wastage.
Ensure the machine is maintained in optimal working condition.
Keep the required tools and spare parts ready to ensure uninterrupted machine operation.
